It's always amazing to watch birds. They do the most interesting things.

Debbie is teaching me a lot about the native birds in our state. Soon we will be taking a river trip to search out 'birds of prey' and snap a series of ospreys, hawks and if we're really diligent (and lucky), eagles.

You don't have to be in "the studio" to get good photos of people. This photo of my middle daughter, Hartley, was taken when as we were leaving the house one day. The right look from your subject, the right lens and light, and the right angle or vantage point can get you some very nice photos.

These are just a very small sampling of people photos that MyShotz takes - some studio, some staged, some spontaneous.

This church lady was ready when the pastor introduced the celebrity in the congregation!

When the special visitor in the congregation was introduced, this lady was ready. And when I saw it happening, I quickly realized there were two choices... turn and snap the celebrity visitor, too - or take my aim and shoot the little lady who was ready to shoot the celebrity visitor for herself.
