Springhill Medical Center's gift to Mobile SPAN> On December 1, 2004, Springhill kicked off its 30th Anniversary with an official lighting of the "Fairyland of Lights," as it has come to be known. These lights are Springhill's Christmas Card to the community and will be illuminated from dusk to dawn through January 2nd - so there's still time to see them! The tradition began in 1979 with a total of 75,000 lights displayed. This year's display includes about 1 million lights and takes the electrical crew six weeks to install and later remove. Debbie and I were honored to shoot this year's "Lighting of the Lights." Thanks to Mrs. Celia Wallace and her family for this wonderful annual gift to Mobile. |

The Alabama Electric Cooperatives wanted powerful visuals for their print ads and called on The OneGroup for their creative. span> We first started with strong creaive concepts from the team at Denson/Reed Marketing and then set up the photo shoots to support the concepts. This is one of the most enjoyable projects that we shoot each year. These shots are always challenging and allow us to use studio shots and "slice-of-life" photography to communicate the strong community involvement and quality of these exceptional rural electric cooperatives. |

"Snow (and sleet) on Christmas Day!"
It was Tiggy's first time to experience frozen ground... This isn't the most professionally composed photo, but it is was a FUN one watching her take to the ice for the first time! We'll all remember the attempt at a Gulf Coast White Christmas in 2004. |

Ring in the new year! A photo ready for you to use!
We shot this on the causeway on July 4th, but it will work for a New Year's Celebration, too! Fireworks are a fun part of our festive celebrations. Enjoy the beauty, and remember safety if you're making your own displays. Oh, and if you need some for yourself, check out "Cool Ray's Extreme Fireworks" on Highway 59 in Loxley. Tell Charley and Connie that Tad and Debbie sent you!
